NATIONAL ORGANIC PROGRAM (USDA/ NOP) 


The National Organic Program (NOP) is part of the United States Department of Agriculture. The NOP regulates the standards for any farm, wild crop harvesting, or handling operation wishing to market products as organically produced. Regulation related to production of organic products were enacted in the United States in 2002. Producers, processors and distributors who wants to export their products to United States has to be certified and labelled according to the NOP regulations. 


ETKO is an inspection body accredited by the USDA . Compliance with NOP standards are determined before the ıssuing NOP certificate.
