Textile Exchange is pleased to announce the publication of the TE-MM-TEM-119-V1.0 Self-Assessment Tool for Certified Organizations and its accompanying guidance document, TE-MM-GUI-132-V1.0 Self Assessment for Certified Organizations User Guidance.

Both documents are effective with the Materials Matter Standard on December 31, 2026, and their use is voluntary. 
 
The TE-MM-TEM-119-V1.0 Self-Assessment Tool for Certified Organizations is a free, comprehensive template designed to support certified organizations conducting self-assessments to the TE-MM-STN-101 Materials Matter Standard. It can be used to self-monitor, evaluate their processes, and identify areas for improvement. 

The TE-MM-GUI-132-V1.0 Self Assessment for Certified Organizations User Guidance provides additional information and instructions to support certified organizations using the self-assessment tool. 

Neither Textile Exchange nor the self-assessment tool collects data through this process. The tool is intended as a supporting resource and does not replace the Materials Matter Standard or any other Textile Exchange standard.
